VINEYARD NOTES Bordering the Mokelumne River and Gill Creek Slough our River Ranch Aglianico Vineyard was planted in 2015. The 6.75 acres sits on deep fine sandy and sandy loam soils and takes advantage of the high water table. WINEMAKER NOTES A late ripening Italian varietal that prefers warm, dry conditions, Aglianico has rich fruit concentration that develops into a flavorful wine. Aromas of wild strawberry and rhubarb carry through to the palate and the natural balance of fruit, acid and body make this wine both interesting and pleasing.
