Description
PASO ROBLES The defining characteristics of the Paso Robles terroir are the wide diurnal temperature variance (as much as 50°F) and limited nutrients in the soil with an excellent balance of well-draining, calcareous shale and water-holding clay. With summer temperatures that frequently hit 100˚F, it is this convergence of climate factors that ensure Mina Mesa is ripe, vibrant and balanced. TASTING NOTES Full-bodied, rich and complex, Mina Mesa Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberries and ripe plums, enhanced by notes of tarragon and mocha. Intense, balanced flavors shine through in the lingering finish of concentrated red fruit with a hint of vanilla.
