Proprietor's Zinfandel 2017

The color is a deep garnet hue at the edge, changing into purple and then almost black at the center of your glass. The nose is very expressive, boasting notes of fresh blackberry pie and ripe plums layered with black pepper, graham crackers, sweet oak, vanillin, caramel, and baking spices. There is a lovely cooling sensation to the nose as well, reminiscent of wintergreen. The first sip builds on the initial excitement of this wine.
