Taub Family Vyds Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Grapes are harvested, destemmed, and sorted by hand. Cold soak for 3-5 days, followed by 14 days fermentation with 3 daily pump-overs, and an additional 10 days maceration. Transferred to French oak barrels (50% new) for malolactic fermentation and 22 months ageing. Darkly colored and decadent. Aromas of red and black fruits with hints of dried flowers and toasted oak aromas. The palate displays cherry, cassis, plum, and blackberry compote with flavors of vanilla, mocha, graham cracker, baking spice, and cedar. Concentrated with a smooth mouthfeel, polished tannins and a very long finish.
