Saracina Unoaked Chardonnay 2020

WINEMAKING & TASTING NOTES The 100% estate grown fruit comes entirely from Saracina ranch. The vines are 40 years old, clone 4, and are planted on soils influenced by the Russian River. Grapes were whole cluster pressed, cool tank fermented with four months on lees. Fresh Chardonnay fruit flavors spring from the glass, with ripe yellow nectarine and pear notes without the heavy influence of malolactic fermentation or oak. There is an appealing purity on the palate, with a clean, bright finish and surprising concentration. Lovely on its own, or pair with grilled fish or chicken paillard.
