Sling & Spear Dry Creek Zinfandel 2016

Hand sorted, destemmed bunches are crushed in stainless steel tanks. Native yeast starts fermentation, supplemented with Assmanshausen yeast. Malolactic fermentation in barrel on lees. Aged 22 months in oak. 95% French, 5% American Oak– 50% new. Deep Ruby color. Aromas of raspberry, cherry, and blackberry complemented by vanilla, licorice, and toast. A rich wine with multilayers, beautifully balanced with integrated tannins which support a long, complex finish.
